Welcome to this online training! The purpose of the online course is to equip you with the knowledge and skills on how to use the SADC SRHR STRATEGY to advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights.
The SADC SRHR Strategy was developed through a consultative process with civil society and provides activists, advocates and NGO’s in the region with a framework in which to push for sexual and reproductive health and rights.
This online training is designed to give an overview of the key elements of the strategy and provide tools for advocates to work at a local and national level to ensure that countries implement the strategy.
It consists of three modules. Each module is stand-alone so you can choose the module(s) you are most interested in. You can also decide to work systematically through the 3 modules. The modules consist of different training methods – video, quizzes, written information, etc and are designed to be interactive. You can start a module and return to it at any given time.

Welcome to this online course developed by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
The following modules were created to increase peer-educators’ knowledge of abortion-related issues and their confidence and ability to deliver information and education sessions on this subject.
This online course consists of five separate modules, all around 15 minutes each. We recommend you go through the modules in order, but you do not need to do the full course in one sitting.
The development of this online course was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, through the Get Up Speak Out programme, and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, through the Abortion Stigma Project.
